Recent post-Voice releases include a six-song EP from Taylor John Williams, one of the top finishers on the show’s seventh season.
New singles are also out from Madilyn Paige and Christian Porter, and Season 1 runner-up Dia Frampton is featured on a new version of a popular EDM single.
Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

* Taylor John Williams from Season 7 released a six-song EP called “Angeline” on Friday. He’s a singer of lots of sad loves songs; my favorite from this collection is the hypnotizing “On The Floor.” Writes Taylor: “This EP is like if I coated my naked body with 6 different colors of paint, then proceeded to flop around on a giant sheet of paper like a dying mackerel choking on air. The art of suffering, literally. … I hope she (Angeline the EP) does something good for you.” Taylor John is planning a StageIt show featuring all original music on Feb. 28.
* Dia Frampton from Season 1 provided the vocals for William Black and Fairlane’s EDM track “Butterflies” this time last year. That track has been streamed more than 3.7 million times on Spotify. Now the collaborators are back with an acoustic version of the track. And, wow, it’s more magical than the original, thanks largely to Dia’s wonderful vocal. This is a must-hear track, folks.
* Madilyn Paige from Season 5 released “Waiting Room” last week. It’s a song she co-wrote with producer Austin Nivarel and Robert Ragosta. “Every song I write is from one or more perspectives, and this one definitely encompasses that,” Madilyn writes on social media. A frequent cover artist, Madilyn hadn’t released an original for three years before “Bleed” came out in September. Now she’s released two in 2021. “Waiting Room” follows “My Regret,” which landed in January.
* Christian Porter from Season 4 promises not to be his loved one’s ball and chain in a fine, acoustic new single called, appropriately enough, “Ball + Chain.” The song appears to mark Christian’s first release since the summer of 2019, but he performs regularly in the Stroudsburg, Pa., area.
