* Thunderstorm Artis, third on Season 18, has a new single out called “Oh Little River.” He wrote the song when he was 18 and traveling the world and explains it in an Instagram post. “Life is like a river and takes you in and out of people’s lives and there’s so many lessons to learn,” he says. “So just slow down and take the time to talk to people.” Congrats go out to Thunderstorm and his wife who welcomed their first child — Ezekiel Storm Artis — on June 28. Thunderstorm has been on tour with Train, Jewel and Blues Traveler this summer.

* Wé McDonald, who finished third on Season 11, has new management, a new stage name and a new single out. She’ll now be releasing music as Wé Ani. And her first release under that name is a song called “Mr. Montgomery.” It marks her first release of 2022, but Wé writes: “There’s so many songs in store!!”

* Allé, from Season 3 released her latest single last week. It’s called “… Date Nite” and follows “Sometimes” as her second release of 2022. Allé was Alessandra Guercio on The Voice and has been especially prolific in the last two years, releasing nine singles.
