New post-Voice music out this week includes a single from Kensington Moore and covers from Citizen Queen and Brass Against.

The two groups include singers who competed on The Voice.

Here’s a rundown of those new releases. The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Kensington Moore, from Season 7, continues a string of impressive 2019 singles with “Karma.” It dropped Friday, and might just be her best yet. “I wish I had some deep revenge rooted in this song’s story, but I don’t,” she told Elicit Magazine. “I will say though, this song becomes more relatable for me on the daily. ‘Karma’ literally just came out of nowhere.” “Karma” is the fifth single this year from Kensington.

* Citizen Queen is back with another well-done cover, this time taking on “Senorita,” the Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello smash. Of course, the all-girl a capella quintet doesn’t have a guy to sing the Shawn part, but they cover quite nicely. Signed to RCA Records, Citizen Queen includes Hannah Mrozak of Season 13. She’s the lovely lass in the red dress in the music video.

* Brass Against, with Sophia Urista of Season 11 on lead, has released a cover of Alice in Chains’ “Rooster.” Brass Against specializes in putting its own stamp on classic rock songs and Sophia is a frequent collaborator. They also recently released an album, “Brass Against II,” featuring Sophia on three tracks and former Voice standout Amanda Brown (Season 3) on three. And they’ve launched a Patreon campaign where a video of “Rooster” is available to supporters.
