Carrie Underwood will release her “Cry Pretty” album on Sept. 14.

Carrie Underwood will embark on her new “Cry Pretty” tour next May.

Why the nearly eight-month gap in between?

That’s because Carrie and husband Mike Fisher are expecting their second baby.

Carrie dropped that news on fans Wednesday under the heading of “Ooh, baby, do we have a bundle of info to share with you!”

“Mike and (son) Isaiah (age 3) and I are over the moon to be adding another little fish to our pond,” Carrie says in a video message to fans. “This has just been a dream come true.”

As for the tour, tickets go on sale to the general public Aug. 17. VIP packages go on sale Aug. 13. Citi card members can also begin ordering tickets on the date.

Carrie’s posted all the info on her website.

Opening for Carrie will be Maddie & Tae and Runaway Jane. Like her “Storyteller” tour, Carrie’s performance will occur “in the round,” meaning she’ll be encircled by fans.

The 55-date tour includes stops in Hersey, Pa. (June 13), Washington, D.C. (Oct. 4), Philadelphia (Oct. 5) and Pittsburgh (Oct. 12).
