So, it’s once again Blake Shelton vs. Adam Levine for The Voice title.

Singers coached by Blake have won the show three times in its first six seasons. Artists coached by Adam have won twice.

No doubt, The Voice will make much out of their already hyped rivalry.

But let’s hope the focus this week remains where it should be – on the four distinctly talented contestants squaring off in the show’s first all-male finale.

I’ve ranked them below. I absolutely reserve the right to change my mind about who should win based on what happens Monday night.

Because this really is shaping up to be one of the closest showdowns in the show’s seven seasons.

Oh, heads up, The Voice is throwing us a bit of a scheduling wrinkle this week. The performance show begins at 8 p.m., as usual. The two-hour results show – gotta build that suspense, you know – begins at 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Check back for live blogs both nights. The number in parenthesis below is last week’s ranking.

1. Matt McAndrew (1, Team Adam): The coaches on The Voice talk about how they can’t wait to hear the contestants’ post-show albums. You don’t have to wait for Matt, who already released the excellent “View of the Pines.” Check out the track “Burning Bridges;” it might be my favorite among all the pre-Voice songs available from Season 7 contestants. That proven track record and Adam’s knack for picking songs that strike a chord with viewers keep Matt at number one heading into Monday’s show.

2. Craig Wayne Boyd (2, Team Blake): Whether Craig Wayne finishes first, second, third or fourth, he’s very likely to leave the show and release the most successful country album of any alumni to date. The only question is whether he’ll be a one-album phenom or whether he’ll enjoy long-term success in country music, and that won’t be determined by anything that happens Monday or Tuesday night.

3. Chris Jamison (5, Team Adam): His popularity has soared since the finals began (thank The Voice producers, Chris). But this young man proved himself finals worthy during last week’s show, especially with that show-closing cover of Bruno Mars’ “When I Was Your Man.” Expect liberal use of his falsetto and lots of screams from the ladies every time he takes the stage in the finale.

4. Damien (4, Team Adam): I still think Damien might have the best male voice on Season 7, but he’s at his finest when he’s singing emotional ballads and hasn’t shown quite as much versatility as the three singers above him on this list. He also enters the finale at a bit of a disadvantage: He’s the only singer left who hasn’t scored bonus points at least twice, and those count toward each singer’s final vote total.

Matt for the win! Unique and extremely talented. He has the abilities to move you with his voice, the others, while good singers, don’t. He’s my #1 pick and deserves to win, he’s been at the top since the beginning!

i want Craig to win but am afraid Matt or Chris will because of the numbers of people who vote,:Look at Taylor Swift she REALLY cannot sing that well but her popularity is what sells the records and gets her awards she REALLY doesn’t deserve, same thing here, Matt and Chris appeal to the younger ones and that is who buys this stuff
