Kelly Clarkson landed her second four-chair turn artist of Season 21 as The Voice blind auditions continued Tuesday.

This time, the artist in question was Gymani. She joined Team Kelly despite auditioning with an Ariana Grande song.

On opening night, Kelly and Blake each won over four-chair turn artists. The sibling trio Girl Named Tom joined Team Kelly; Blake enticed show-closer Wendy Moten to join his team.

Here’s a recap of Tuesday’s auditions with my picks for the best performances of the night.

Best of the Night

Samuel Harness, 26, Fort Wayne, Indiana, “Here Without You” by 3 Doors Down: Samuel’s excellent opening prompted a quick chair turn from John Legend. Ariana and Blake followed when Samuel hit the chorus. Ariana called his performance “incredible.” John complimented his combination of rasp and range. Blake said he thinks he could coach Samuel to victory. Samuel decided to join Team Legend.

Runners-up

Gymani, 23, East Point, Ga.. “pov” by Ariana Grande: Blake and Ariana turned very early, followed by John Legend. Kelly eventually turned as well, making Gymani the third singer in Season 21 to turn all four chairs. Ariana called her performance “phenomenal” and loved the emotion Gymani showed. John loved the way she made the song her own. Gymani decided to join Team Kelly.

Hailey Green, 15, St. Martin, Miss., “Home” by Marc Broussard: Hold it, that voice is coming from a 15-year-old young woman? Really. Blake turned at the last moment. And I have no idea how it took a coach that long to turn. Kelly said it sounded “wild.” John complimented her on the maturity of her voice. Blake said he loved the wildness in her performance.

Also made the show

Lana Scott, 28, Chesapeake, Va., “Hole in the Bottle” by Kelsea Ballerini: Her country twang earned a quick chair turn from Blake. Kelly turned midway through the performance. Blake complimented her tone and her energy. Ariana and John pushed for Lana to join Team Kelly. Lana joined Team Blake.

Carolina Alonso, 23, Reno, Nev., “El Triste” by José José: She earned a quick chair turn from Kelly. But in spite of an impressive ending, none of the other coaches turned. Ariana complimented her on so many cool parts of her voice. Kelly said she’s “obsessed” with Carolina’s voice. Carolina automatically joined Team Kelly.

Jim and Sasha Allen, 57 and 19, Newtown, Ct., “Leaving on a Jet Plane” by Peter, Paul and Mary: They’re a father, son duo. And they’re wonderful harmonies produce chair turns from Kelly and Ariana. Kelly said she has a trio, but couldn’t not turn for Jim and Sasha. Ariana said their harmonies transported her. And Jim and Sasha joined Team Ariana.

Chavon Rodgers, 23, Ada, Okla., “Driver’s License” by Dan Nigro and Olivia Rodrigo: John turned quickly. When Chavon showed off his range, Ariana turned as well. Ariana said she loved the journey of his performance. John liked his Jeff Buckley sort of tone. Chavon decided to join Team Ariana.

Joshua Vacanti, 28, Lockport, N.Y., “Into the Unknown” from Frozen II: John Legend turned midway through his performance. Ariana joined him when Joshua unleahsed a big ending, only to find she’d been blocked by John. John complimented Joshua on his challenging song selection and said he knew he had to block Ariana to get him for his team.

Paris Winningham, 32, Jacksonville, Fla., “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder: John turned early in a high-energy performance. Ariana joined him as Paris poured heart and soul into the performance. Ariana loved his soul and personaltiy. John liked the way he “lit the stage on fire.” Paris decided to join Team Legend.
