Scotty McCreery spent part of his Memorial Day at Disney World in Florida, a visit that’s become customary for the winner of American Idol.
Scotty met with fans and performed his first single, “Love You This Big,” in front of the American Idol Experience attraction at the park.
Speaking of “Love You This Big,” I’ll be interested to see where it lands on Billboard’s download chart this week.
The song spent three days in the number one spot on iTunes after Scotty’s victory on Idol Wednesday night.
This morning, it was still number six on that chart. A compilation album of Scotty’s Idol performances was number seven. Not bad a week out.
As of Saturday, Lauren Alaina’s single and compilation album were number six and seven, respectively, on iTunes. By this morning, both had dropped out of the top 10.
