What have your favorite Season 15 contestants been doing in the two short months since Chevel Shepherd was crowned The Voice champ?

The answer, in many cases, is releasing music.

The Season 15 cast, more than any from past seasons, seems to be operating under the premise of striking while the iron is hot.

More than a dozen Season 15 singers have already released music. And while that includes only one finalist — Chris Kroeze — Chevel, Kirk Jay and Kennedy Holmes have been plenty busy too.

Chevel performed at halftime of a Kansas City Chiefs game with fellow teen phenoms Kennedy and Sarah Grace. She sang “God Bless America” at the inauguration of New Mexico’s new governor in January. And she’s scheduled to sing the national anthem at a NASCAR race in Arizona next month.

She also recorded a song and video for the One Life Project. “The One Life Project is a way to teach about global warming and how to take care of our earth,” she wrote on Twitter. “I’m so glad i got to be the main vocalist and spokesperson for this! Can’t wait to share the song & vid w/u.”

As for Kennedy, she was the guest at a 14th birthday party to which all of St Louis was invited and recently performed with Grammy winning jazz singer Dianne Reeves at a show in that city. She’s also returned to her other love besides music, playing volleyball.

Kirk Jay’s had a busy show schedule too, including one featuring featuring fellow Season 15 colleagues Patrique Fortson and MaKenzie Thomas. He also received the key to the city in Bayminette, Ala., on Kirk Jay Day shortly after Season 15 ended.

Meanwhile, Chris’ self-titled debut album is hot off the presses and hasn’t hit digital sites yet. But physical CDs were to be available this weekend, just in time for a series of four sold-out hometown shows in Barron, Wisc. You can check out what Chris told Voice Views about that project and life since the show.

As for those who have released music, here’s a list, with links to Apple Music. Do yourself a favor and check out this music. It makes me wish The Voice allowed contestants to do originals on the show.
