Tessanne Chin's debut album, Count on My LoveTessanne Chin’s debut album didn’t exactly land on the Billboard charts with a splash.

“Count On My Love” landed at number 41 on the Billboard 200 with about 7,000 copies sold for the show’s Season 5 winner.

That’s the poorest first-week performance for an album by a winner of The Voice since Season 1 champ Javier Colon debuted at number 134.

Cassadee Pope’s “Frame by Frame” is still the most successful post-Voice debut — number nine on Billboard with 43,000 copies sold after Season 3.

Danielle Bradbery’s self-titled album sold nearly as many in its first week (41,000) and hit number 19 on Billboard after Season 4.

Of course, Jermaine Paul never released an album after winning Season 2, so there are no stats for him.

Tessanne’s chart performance has to be disappointing because she’s released a solid pop album and has been able to promote it through The Voice summer tour.

But the first two singles — “Tumbling Down” and “Everything Reminds Me of You” — didn’t catch on big, even though she got to sing both on the show.

Tessanne, who wrote or co-wrote six of the songs on the album, talks about it in a video on The Voice website.

“It’s got so many different elements to it, I think everybody can find something that they like on it,” she said.

“The title track is one of my favorites because it speaks a lot to where I am right now on the tour,” Tessanne adds. “The lyrics kind of reassure the person that no matter how far away I am, you can count on my love.”
