A combination of 11 singers and groups will advance on The Voice tonight.

For 10, it will be a pretty easy evening after the results are announced.

But the 11th spot will be decided by instant save, with the lowest three vote-getters involved in a sing-off at the end of the show.

Advancing to Top 11

Girl Named Tom (Team Kelly) — They delivered the best performance last night and are the current favorites to win the show.

Jershika Maple (team Legend) — I love the fact that fans accomplished her splendid performance from Monday night.

Holly Forbes (Team Ariana) — She deserved to advance after Monday’s solid show-closing performance.

Wendy Moten (Team Blake) — Her “Blue Bayou” wasn’t perfect, but still ranked among last night’s top performances.

Hailey Mia (Team Kelly) — And the youngest singer on The Voice Season 21 is now in the Top 11. Thrilled to see her advance.

Joshua Vacanti (Team Legend) — He may go much farther in the competition than I suspected when he advanced to the live playoffs.

Paris Winningham (Team Blake) — And I won’t be surprised to see Paris in the finals if he continues his string of solid performances.

Jim and Sasha Allen (Team Ariana) — Right now, their fan support is stronger than their live-show performances.

Jeremy Rosado (Team Kelly) — I’m having trouble gauging Jeremy’s level of fan support, but he deserved to advance tonight.

Lana Scott (Team Blake) — She was the last artist sent to safety, but I suspect she finished better than 10th in the voting.

Singing for the save

Shadale (Team Legend), “Breathe: by Faith Hill: I was surprised when Shadale went country last night. Tonight, she doubles down with a Faith Hill tune. With her combination of style, powerful vocals and fierce on-stage attitude, Shadale has been one of my favorites in the competition. But this performance is not screaming save worthy.” In fact, it started pretty shaky. Grade: C

Gymani (Team Kelly), “Sweet Love” by Anita Baker: This was fine for the first minute, then the background singers carried the chorus, allowing Gymani to unleash her growl and ab lib to her heart’s delight. Perhaps a little over the top, but definitely the best of the save-me performances. Grade: B

Ryleigh Plank (Team Ariana), “Dangerous Woman” by Ariana Grande: This song choice is more in line with the song choices I expected from Ryleigh once the lives began. And for the first 70 seconds, Ryleigh was delivering a killer performance. Then she went for big high notes, and her voice just didn’t cooperate. Grade: C+

Gymani received the save, meaning Team Kelly advanced in its entirety. Shadale and Ryleigh were eliminated.
