The song is “Deep Down” and landed Thursday along with an accompanying music video that has gotten more than 1.5 million views in just three days.
“It really shows my true style and what I represent, which is R&B and hip hop,” Zhavia told Galore.com, which recently posted an interview with the 17-year-old.
“It still sounds like really authentic and original, but it has so much musical inspiration from soul music.”
The best news for Zhavia fans: more new music is coming. She plans to drop her debut EP this fall.
Zhavia released her debut single, “Candlelight,” last month. Since The Four, she was also featured on “Welcome to the Party” from the “Deadpool 2” soundtrack.
Here’s the music video for “Deep Down.”
