With lots of talented singers left to do battle, all eyes will be on Usher tonight on The Voice. That’s because he’s the only coach with a save left to use.
And then there was just one. One duo remaining on The Voice that is.
One of the youngest artists on The Voice is making the biggest impact on the iTunes chart today. Only one singer from Monday night’s battle-round match-ups has cracked the Top 200 on the iTunes singles chart.
Fans of David Archuleta got the news they’d long been waiting for Monday. The runner-up from Season 7 of American Idol is home.
In one of the best battle round episodes of The Voice yet, even half of the losers didn’t really lose. Tess Boyer, Josh Murley and Ayesha “Music Box” Brooks all earned saves during Monday’s show, finding new homes on Team Blake, Team Shakira and Team Usher, respectively.
A couple of times this season, you’ve had to wonder if the contestants and the American Idol band were on the same page. Well, this week, they’d better be.

Fans of The Voice know by now that we don’t get to see all those battle round matches. At least not in their entirety. Two we missed last week included a Team Shakira showdown in which Ddendyl advanced over Lindsay Pagano and a Team Blake battle in which Megan Ruger topped Ria Eaton.
Four former American Idol contestants are in Atlanta this evening to help raise money for a good cause. The event is the first-ever Rally Idol. The goal: raising money to fight childhood cancer.
