Remember when “American Idol” did full tours for its Top Ten finalists?
Seasons 1-12.
Did the producers lose interest?
Were the shows no longer selling well?
Had backlash overflowed about robbed semifinalists/finalists who should have made the tour instead?
Any other possibilities?
Shows were probably no longer selling well.
That’s correct. When American Idol was at its peak, they were able to sell out arenas. By the time they stopped the tours, they were struggling to sell out small venues.
Thank you for the answer.
The peak for “American Idol” was a long time ago.
