Recent post-Voice music released includes country singles from Texas Hill, Kristi Hoopes and Cam Spinks.

And keep an eye out for more next music from Texas Hill and Kristi; both are planning EPs.

Here’s a bit about each of the new releases.

As always, the links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Texas Hill, consisting of Craig Wayne Boyd, Adam Wakefield and Casey James, has released the trio’s third single and has an EP on the way. The single is “Easy on the Eyes,” a ballad about a gal who’s easy on the eyes, but hard on the heart. It was co-written by the three guys in Texas Hill plus Morgan Myles. And it follows “Darkest Sky” and “Four Roses” as the first releases since they started recording together. All three tunes will be on a five-song EP that will be out on Sept. 25. Craig won Season 7 of The Voice, Adam was second on Season 10 and Casey was third on Season 9 of American Idol.

* Kristi Hoopes from Season 13 has released “Don’t Worry Mama,” her first original music since 2014. “I was at a crossroads between childhood and womanhood when I wrote this song with Biff Watson,” Kristi says. “Moving to Nashville to start building my new life came with so much excitement, but there was a great deal of homesickness too. I wanted to give my mom something that would remind her that I’d always be her kiddo, that I wouldn’t forget all the things she taught me.” The single is the first song off an upcoming EP, funded through an Indiegogo campaign.

* Cam Spinks appeared on The Voice in the spring and is already back with his fifth song since, “Hot in the Sun.” It’s not the summer party song the title might seem to imply. “It’s dark and heavy and sad and guitars are everywhere, which makes me happym and I’ve been working on this one for years and I love it and I hope you do too,” Cam writes on social media. Cam had released a three-song set as “Leave Me Alone” in late May and released a single called “Circles” in late June.
