New post-Voice music out recently includes a single from LACES, a cover from Tate Brusa and a featured vocal for Audrey Karrasch.

Here’s a bit more on each of those releases.

* LACES, aka Charlotte Sometimes from Season 2, has released a powerful new single called “They Say” with an assist from three other artists, including Amanda Brown from Season 3. A survivor of sexual assault, LACES told Billboard her goal was to address what it means to live through trauma when the society you live in refuses to let you even acknowledge it. Also contributing vocals to the track are Flavia and Bellsaint. All four artists talk about being a survivor on LACES’ Instagram page. “Working with strong, talented, and powerful woman is always an honor. I feel really lucky they wanted to carry the weight of this song with me,” LACES told Billboard. LACES is the stage name for Jessica Vaughn, who competed on The Voice as Charlotte Sometimes.

* Tate Brusa from Season 18 released a cover of “Cowboy in LA” recently. Writes Tate on social media: “I love LANY. This song is incredible and decided to rebuild it from the ground up.” Just 16 when he auditioned for the show, Tate released “46,” his debut EP, earlier this year.

* Audrey Karrasch from Season 5 is featured vocalist on a recently released electronic single from producer noll called “Time.” The song dropped late last month. Audrey is also half of a duo called Alke that has released two singles this year — “Gemini” in February and “Somebody Who” last month.
