New music out includes singles from three singers we met on recent seasons of American Idol, including Madison VanDenburg, Francisco Martin and Jonny West.

Here’s a bit on each of those releases.

Madison VanDenburg, third-place finisher from Season 17, just turned 19 and released a song called “Eighteen.” Recalls Madison: “A year ago, I remember not being able to sleep. And so, of course, I ended up dragging myself out of bed and going to the studio. And I swear this is one of the quickest songs I’ve ever written. I immediately connected with the storyline of it and it quickly became one of my favorite originals.” Madison also says it’s the first single she’s released where she has done everything, including handling the production.

Francisco Martin, another Season 18 finalist, has released a duet version of “Swollen,” a song he initially released back in October. And his duet partner is Season 18 colleague Julia Gargano, a Top 7 finisher on the show. “Found the sweetest voice for “Swollen,” which means the duet is happening!” he had written on Instagram last month. There’s also a music video.

Jonny West from Season 18 released “All the Words” last week. It’s his first single since finishing in the Top 5 on the show last spring. “This is just a little something while the project marinates,” he wrote on Instagram.
