Anna Grace of The Voice Season 20

Anna Grace is among the singers to announce they auditioned for Season 20 of The Voice.

Here’s more about Anna.

* She’s Anna Grace Felten, 20 and lives in Milwaukee, Wisc.

* She doesn’t appear to have released music yet, but you can check out a snippet of Billie Eilish’s “My Future” — performed on her new guitar — on her Instagram page.

* Anna Grace has much more music on her TikTok, including a cover of “I Love You Baby,” recorded while she was bored in a hotel room. It’s attracted 1 million views and more than 200,000 likes.

* She’s worked at Camp Zoom, a children’s summer camp based at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield.

* And she had a serious health scare about three years ago when she landed in the hospital with septic shock and doctors weren’t sure she’d survive.

* She writes that she endured six subsequent bouts with sepsis over the next eight months, adding up to “so many nights spent in the hospital fighting for my life with so many questions why.”

* “However,” she writes on Instagram, “if that had never happened to me, I wouldn’t be where I am. I wouldn’t be singing. I wouldn’t be at church, and I wouldn’t be me. I hate what happened to me but I’m grateful for every single thing. It has shaped my life into something I could never have imagined … Ssepsis, you didn’t win.”

Editor’s note: Season 20 of The Voice is scheduled to kick off Monday, March 1 on NBC.
