Madilyn Paige from Season 6 released a 10-track album called “Social Butterfly” earlier this week. The title track finds her singing about how she’d love to be a social butterfly instead of struggling with social anxiety and overthinking every social interaction she just had. Another standout track is “Knives,” about how words can cut like them. Madilyn says she wrote that song with Jay Denton, conveying “a message that’s really important to me.” “Social Butterfly” is Madilyn’s fourth album since appearing on The Voice at age 16 in 2014.

Gigi Rich from Season 7 has a fiery new single out called “Bite.” It’s a collaboration with, who she thanks for mixing, mastering and producing the single. A piano version of the song was featured on the GRRRL Music YouTube channel earlier this year. It’s the third single of the year from Gigi, following “Cycle” and “Other Side.”

Katherine Ho from The Voice Season 10

Katherine Ho from The Voice Season 10

Katherine Ho, thrice montaged on Season 10, has a catchy new pop song out called “405.” Says Katherine: “Named after the iconic LA freeway and inspired by a psychology class I took in college, ‘405’ is about the first time I fell in love and how that experience helped me find magic in the mundane. Attention is a limited resource, so when we’re stressed out or in a constant state of fight-or-flight, our brains often miss out on life’s beauty. But when we’re with the ones we love, that stress melts away, and even driving the most traffic-jammed highway can feel like a beautiful experience.” Oh, and Katherine’s cover of “Yellow” from the film “Crazy Rich Asians” has now been streamed 17 million times on Spotify alone!
