Sawyer Fredericks, Season 8 champ of The Voice, has released a new music video and is touring to support his new album.

Sawyer Fredericks released the music video for “Gasoline” this week.

And it’s reflective of his commitment to the arts community near his hometown of Fultonville, N.Y.

The video was filmed at Glove Theatre in Gloversville, N.Y., doors down from where Sawyer performed his first open mic, according to the post on his YouTube page.

And Sawyer hosted a video release and fundraising show last weekend to help raise money to help restore the theater.

The Glove Theatre was built in 1914 and you can get more information on the effort to restore it here.

As for “Gasoline,” it’s one of the tracks from Sawyer’s independent “Hide Your Ghost” album released earlier this year.

And Sawyer is busy touring to support that album, with about three dozen shows already scheduled this summer.

Those include a Friday, Aug. 31 show at the Club Cafe in Pittsburgh, Pa. Check out Sawyer’s website for a complete list of tour dates.
