you’re a die-hard fan of The Voice, you might have wondered “who?” when Carson Daly and Clive Davis introduced Avery Wilson during Tuesday’s episode.

Because he’s proof you don’t have to make the show’s finals to use The Voice as a launching pad for a music career.

At age 16, Avery turned all four chairs with his blind audition performance of “Without You” back in Season 3 and chose to join Team Cee Lo Green.

He advanced to the knockout round before being eliminated by fan favorite Cody Belew.

A trained dancer who decided he’d rather sing, he had already released a pre-Voice album called “On Top of the World.”

Now he’s back with a new single called “If I Have To” on RCA Records and with Clive Davis’ support.

I’ve embedded the performance in case you missed it.
