The second annual Academy of County Music (ACM) Honors show was held Tuesday in Nashville, featuring performances by Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler and other stars of country music.
The show celebrates the accomplishments of the special honorees and non-televised category winners from the 44th annual ACM Awards, held earlier this year.
Carrie was named ACM entertainer of the year at that show, held back in April. Her latest single, “Cowboy Casanova,” is already number 18 on the country singles chart and is now available from iTunes.
As for Tuesday’s show, it also featured performances by Vince Gill, Miranda Lambert, John Rich and others. A quick plug for Miranda: Her new album comes out Tuesday. Honorees included Randy Travis, Merle Haggard and many others.
