Lots of great new music is being released these days by former Voice contestants.

Here’s a look at the latest songs released by Gigi Rich, Riley Biederer, LACES, Lelia Broussard and Adanna Duru, who also appeared on American Idol.

* Gigi Rich released a sassy new single called “One Night” with a pop-R&B edge Friday. It follows “Silver Linining” as her second release this year. We met Gigi as Gianna Salvato on Season 7 of The Voice. Since changing her stage name, she also released an excellent 2017 EP “All in My Head.”

* Riley Biederer from Season 9 is a featured vocalist on a catchy new breakup song called “Throw Away My Number” by Jordie Ireland. Riley scored a minor EDM hit when she teamed up with Frank Walker for “Heartbreak Back” last summer. That tune made Voice Views’ Top 20 Songs list for 2018.

* Adanna Duru has teamed up with Amir Kelly to release a single called “Imposter.” Adanna describes it on Instagram as “a song about scammers.” She and Amir also co-wrote the tune. Adanna competed on Season 3 of The voice at age 15 and made the Top 11 on American Idol at age 18.

* Lelia Broussard has a catchy new pop-rock song out called “Just for Kicks” that was featured on the CBS show “Instinct.” Lelia also appeared on Season 3 of The Voice, but she’s one of many former contestants best judged by their superb original music, both under her own named and with Secret Someones. She’s now fronting a band called Jupiter Winter.

* LACES — Voice fans will remember her as Season 2’s Charlotte Sometimes — has released a collaboration with Chris Ayers called “Running in Reverse.” The song is nominated for honors in the adult contemporary category of the Unsigned Only Music Competition, as is LACES’s 2018 single “Someday is Not Tonight.” She’s also part of a side project called Rvrside that just released a cover of “My Hero” by Foo Fighters.
