Season 12 Voice champ Chris Blue is among the latest former contestants of the show to release new music.

Below, check out new releases from Chris, Jamar Rogers, The Shades and Valerie Ponzio.

* Season 12 champ Chris Blue is planning to release his debut EP on Friday, and he’s dropped the second song from that collection, “Ooh La.” Writes Chris: “I love this song!! It’s my escape from hate…. we laugh, but it is so true!! Sometimes we just gotta stick the fingers in our ears and go….” OHH LA LA LA LA.” Chris released the first song from the EP, “Inside Ya,” last month.

* The Chicago-based pop trio The Shades released a new single Friday called “Great Escape.” It’s also the first track released off an upcoming four-song EP called “Draw.” That will be out Oct. 25. The Shades include brothers Phil and Mark Jacobson and Andrew DeMuro, a Season 11 contestant on The Voice. They released their debut EP, “Miles Made of Inches,” in October 2017.

* Jamar Rogers released his first single of 2019 Friday. It’s called “Togetherness,” and “there’s a lot more coming,” he writes on Twitter. Jamar made the Top 8 on Season 2 of The Voice. His biggest musical accomplishment since was an excellent album called “Lazarus,” released in the summer of 2017.

* Valerie Ponzio from Season 12 just released her second single this summer, “I Could Fall In Love.” Writes Valerie on Facebook: “Selena made such an impression on little girls in the 90s me being one of them.” So the El Paso-based artist decided to release her re-imagined version of the 1995 hit. The cover follows “Órale,” an original Valerie released in July.
