Siahna Im of The Voice Season 9

Siahna Im of The Voice Season 9

Siahna Im was just 15 when she auditioned for Season 9 of The Voice and turned three chairs with her cover of “Fever.”

A year later, she’s back with her debut single “Warrior,” released late last month through Arena Music. The lyric video for the song landed Friday.

“I wrote ‘Warrior’ to remind everyone that they are strong and can accomplish anything they set their minds to,” Siahna says in a message to fans on her Facebook page. She added that the song is designed “to inspire girls to bring positive change into the world.”

The teenager is releasing music as simply Siahna, and there’s more to come, according to Arena Music Promotion. “Warrior” is the lead single from an upcoming EP called “Journey.” A release date for the EP hasn’t been announced.

Siahna opted to join Team Pharrell on The Voice and advanced all the way to the knockout round before being eliminated in a pairing with eventual finalist Mark Hood.

Kristen Marie of The Voice Season 10.

Kristen Marie of The Voice Season 10.

Kristen Marie from Season 10 of The Voice has released a debut single called “City.”

And fans of the young indie-pop artist from Oklahoma City will be pleased to know she’s also the featured vocalist on an EDM track by Hedia called “Your Mind” that will be released Oct. 28.

I’ve embedded an acoustic version of “City” below. Head here for a snippet of “Your Mind.”

Kristen was 20 when she auditioned for The Voice with “Mad World” by Tears for Fears and prompted chair turns from Christina Augilera and Blake Shelton. She was eliminated in the battle round when matched against eventual Top 12 finisher Daniel Passiono. They performed Adele’s “Turning Tables.”

“My history with music is kind of weird,” Kristen said in an interview with a local TV station about her time on The Voice. “My mom’s always been a singer, and I’ve always wanted to be a singer. But growing up in Oklahoma, it’s kind of like, ‘How do you do that if you’re not doing country music?’ The last couple of years is the first time I’ve performed in front of actual humans and not just my dog.”

She credits her experience on The Voice and as a theater performance major at the University of Central Oklahoma for helping her become more comfortable on stage.

Lily Elise from The Voice Season 1

Lily Elise from The Voice Season 1

Lily Elise from Season 1 of The Voice released a new song called “Palm Trees” earlier this month, marking the fourth single she’s released this year and her eighth since appearing on the show in the spring of 2011.

The song is called “Palm Trees,” and you can check it out below. She co-wrote the song with Soaky Siren.

“Most people move to LA for the same reason, to chase dreams,” Lily says in a press release about the song. “I think people come out here with good intentions, to give their art to the world and then somewhere along the line you realize you gotta further your name in order to further your art, and so you start doing that and then you kinda get lost in that hustle and forget about furthering your art.

“You start kissing asses and doing what people tell you you need to do to get ahead. But at the end of the day, the most important thing is that you like yourself. So the single, it’s kinda about saying ‘just do you’ and ‘f–k it’ to the game.”

Earlier this year, Lily released “Let Me Down” and completed a series of singles about a relationship gone sour with “I Don’t Know Why” and “Circles.”

Lily sang “If I Ain’t Got You” to land the very last spot on Team Christina Aguilera on the first season of The Voice, then advanced all the way to the Top 16 before being eliminated.

You can keep up with her through her Facebook page. On Twitter, she’s simply @LilyElise.
