Those include Joanna Serenko and Toneisha Harris of Team Blake, Allegra Miles of Team Nick, Zan Fiskum of Team Legend and Megan Danielle of Team Kelly.
Here are the song by song grades.
Megan Danielle (Team Kelly), “Simple Man” — Nice song for showing off the rasp in Danielle’s voice. And after a rather sleepy opening, Megan kicked her vocal into high gear for the second half of the performance, showing off power and hitting a nice glory note. Grade B.
Allegra Miles (Team Nick), “In My Blood” — Yes, Allegra. Right from the first note, she demonstrates her unique tone. And you don’t get much more emotionally invested in a performance than she just was. I would love to see this on The Voice’s big stage. This girl deserves a spot in the finale. Grade: A
Zan Fiskum (Team Legend), “Always Remember Us This Way” — Zan’s turning in a great vocal too. Dang. I’ve thought for a while that she and Allegra were the two most distinct singers on the show. That was a superb performance. Zan’s big problem is that she’s West Coast-based vying for a save on East Coast time. Grade: A
Joanna Serenko (Team Blake), “Unaware” — These save performances are even more impressive than the Top 9 songs last night, and those were very good. Joanna went a bit sharp a couple times when she went for big notes and didn’t quite deliver the intensity of the last two performances. Grade: B–
Toneisha Harris (Team Blake), “Loving You” — Okay, who thought of the chirping birds? Bad idea. Toneisha is serving up a joyful performance, but this lacks the weight of those intense performance from Allgra and Zan. Those chirping birds also made it seem a little hokey. Grade: B–
And the fifth finalist is Toneisha Harris.

Producers, coaches, judges and hosts on American Idol and The Voice will pretend they are hosting a legitimate singing competition this week and next. Having blogged about singing shows for more than a decade, I can assure you they are not.You cannot go from a Top 20 to a winner in four weeks (American Idol) or a Top 17 to a winner in three weeks (The Voice) and call it a fair and legitimate singing competition.
So have fun watching. Vote if you want. Put very little stock in the results because they will mean virtually nothing.
Most of all, support the singers when their time on the show ends. They deserved a better showcase for their talent.

Toneisha’s instant Save rendition of Minnie Riperton’s “Loving You” was hands-down, without a doubt, absolutely superior to all of the other four songs. If one were to vote for advancement based on that round of performance alone, Toneisha had to be the winner.
But, of course, it only gets her to next week. There is no way she moves to the top. She would have to pass Todd to do that and he has outpolled her each of the last two weeks. Todd or Thunderstorm will be your winner.
