Gina Zo has released two albums and three music videos so far in 2017 and has another music video on the way.

If you’re Gina Zo, you turn the experience into a song. Then you make the song a single. Then you turn it into a music video.

Hence, we have “Grouplove,” one of the best releases yet from the Season 10 contestant on The Voice.

The song’s title is a nod to the indie pop band Grouplove. Gina said the song’s vibe is consistent with their music.

And it’s a nod to a constant theme in her music: “loving all and accepting all,” she said.

As for the story behind the song …

“It describes a night where I just made a complete fool of myself and how I wished the next few weeks had gone with that person, and instead they actually went the complete opposite,” Gina told Voice Views.

“The song was one of the first ones I wrote for my most recent project,” she added, referring to her “Free Your Soul” album, released in late July. “It started off completely different than how it turned out when I came to my band to start writing the song.”

We met Gina as Gina Castanzo on Season 10 of The Voice. Well, barely. She was one of the artists with the misfortune of being montaged in both the blind auditions and battle round.

Post-Voice, the singer-songwriter from West Chester, Pa., shortened her stage name to Gina Zo and proved once again that even artists who don’t make it deep into the show are likely to release excellent music after their season ends.

When she loses herself in a song — like on “Grouplove” — she’ll remind you a bit of Stevie Nicks. She’s also proven her ability to create an addictive pop tune. Just check out “My Heart.”

Both songs are on “Free Your Soul,” the second album Gina released in just this year. Her earlier album was “My Weakness” — make sure to check out “Gypsy Sounds.”

“Grouplove” marks her third music video this year.

And she’s not done yet. The music video for “Blue,” also from “Free Your Soul,” drops Nov. 3.

“Grouplove” became a single, Gina said, because “I knew that this was a song people would want to dance to and could vibe with. This song is the definition of me: a little crazy, a little fun, a little chaotic!”
