Jennifer Lopez, Season 11

Jennifer Lopez returns to Idol; why, oh why?

2

Well, it’s official, apparently. Jennifer Lopez will be back for Season 11 of American Idol.

Gee, whiz. I’m thrilled.

No reports yet on whether she got the hefty raise she was seeking. Something like $20 million after making $11 million during Season 10.

All of this is enough to make me march into my boss’s office and demand a big, fat raise.

At the same time, I’d inform her that, while I intend to show up for work, I have no intention of editing anything, despite the fact that my title implies I do so.

I would also announce my intention to use my job to promote all my other endeavors, as soon as I figure out what those are.

I’m pretty sure she’d look as me as though I’d lost my mind.

But isn’t that just what happened for Jennifer?

Idol fans, are any of you excited to see Jennifer return for another year?

Sure, she looks pretty at the judges’ table, but shouldn’t she judge as well?

Idol rebounded in Season 10. The new judges — Jennifer and Steven Tyler — had a hand in generating excitement for the show in the audition rounds.

Once the live shows started, I’m sure the 13 finalists had more to do with the show’s success than the blathering string of nonsense and endless stream of compliments coming from the show’s three pretend judges.

That’s right, folks. Jennifer is the final nail in the judges’ table coffin. Randy Jackson and Steven had already signed on for Season 11.

My advice to Nigel: You’d better convince these judges to judge. And you’d better start working on it right now.

They might have seemed fine in Season 10.

After a season of The X Factor and watching Simon Cowell critique talent, my guess is your silly threesome will seem woefully inadequate.

Lol who would you expect them to hire, they were what drew people in, but people stayed when they saw the talent

I find it laughable that those figureheads were the ones that drew them in. I’d say it was more of the excitement of seeing who’ll become the next big talent.

Seriously, she’s an irrelevant, petulant, no-talent broad. Same goes for that other irrelevant, insufferable Journey douchebag.

Must. Resist. Temptation. To. Cut. Someone.
