Meghan Linsey from The Voice Season 8

* Meghan Linsey, the Sesson 8 runner-up, has a new single and music video out for a song called “If You Need Me, Don’t.” She wrote the song with friend Julie Moriva and husband Tyler Cain, who also produced the single. Here’s what she told People about the song: “For me, it was really important with moving forward on this new project to write something that was very straight-ahead soul that felt good and felt like me. I had the idea of ‘If You Need Me, Don’t’ being a real sassy and cool women empowerment song, so we started vibing off of that and it all came together super easy.” The project she’s referring to is a new album, which will mark her first since 2017’s “Bold Like a Lion.”

* Kelsie Watts from Season 19 dropped a new single called “Running to You,” a collaboration with Nashville-based artist and producer REDDER. REDDER said when they completed the song, it was clear it had a Kelly Clarkson “Since You’ve Been Gone” vibe and he needed “someone who wails” to sing it. That would be Kelsie, who said she wrote the song about the man in her life.

Allé from The Voice Season 3
