New post-Voice music out this week includes singles from Jordan Smith, Beat Frequency and MaKenzie Thomas.

Here’s a brief look at each of those releases.

The links below take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Jordan Smith, the Season 9 champ, dropped the Christian single “Great You Are” on Friday. It’s his first single since signing with Provident Label Group/Sony Music. He co-wrote the song with Jeff Sojka and Matt Armstrong. “I was just so moved by the idea that if I’m silent, the Lord will still find a way to be worshipped,” Jordan says in the press release announcing the single. “He won’t miss out on anything because we don’t give Him the glory or the recognition or the worship He deserves. But I want so badly to be a part of that. I’m really excited that this is the first single, and people get to hear that statement from me,”

* Beat Frequency, the Season 3 duo of Natasha Neuschwander and Shawn Lewis, dropped “Whirlybird,” their first single of 2021 on Friday. After laying low for a good while release wise, Natasha and Shawn have returned with lots of new music since 2019. And, judging from this Instagram post, is seems congratulations are in order for the duo/couple.

* MaKenzie Thomas from Season 15 released the love song “Cream” on Friday. It’s actually a makeup single of sorts. MaKenzie planned to release a holiday single, but it didn’t happen because of a “big technical mishap.” So she decided to drop a new original after the holiday instead. She also just posted a video of her 2020 wedding to Jacques Williams featuring a song she wrote for her husband.
