Julia Cooper from Season 19 is wasting no time moving on from an ex in her new single “XO.” She told EarlyRising.com that the song “is about getting rid of peole that no longer serve you. I wrote it with my two best friends during a very pivotal time in my life where I decided to stop living for other people.” It follows “Sugar Rush” as the second song she’s released from an upcoming debut EP called “Made in Heaven.” Julia hasn’t announced a release date for that yet.

Sheena Brook from Season 12 has a catchy new single out called “Piece for Me.” The song comes with an island vibe and finds her having erotic thoughts about an ex, and not apologizing for it, though she knows the relationship wasn’t healthy for her. Sheena is based in Fort Myers, Fla., and just went through a harrowing experience with Hurricane Ian, losing her home and most of her belongings, including all of her music gear. A musician friend has set up a Go Fund Me on behalf of Sheena and her family. More on all of that here.
