Among new post-Voice music released recently is an uplifting single from Kat Perkins, a three-song collection from Fousheé and a featured vocal for Troy Ramey.

Here’s a bit more about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Kat Perkins from Season 6 has released a new single called “Shine.” Written with Eric Warner to celebrate the South Saint Paul (Minnesota) High School Class of 2020, the song shares an uplifting message welcome right about now. There’s a music video too that you can check out on Kat’s Instagram. And Kat has started to schedule curbside concerts around the Twin City Metro Area. Check out her website for more info.

* Sa’Rayah from Season 11 released her six-song debut EP called “In My Feelings” earlier this month. She wrote or co-wrote all six songs, shows off her beat-boxing skills on one track and ends the EP with a superb vocal on a sultry song called “Don’t Touch the Fire.” As for the EP’s title, Sa’Rayah explains “I was in my feelings when I was writing all of it.” Sa’Rayah finished Top 12 on the show.

* Fousheé from Season 15 has released three mellow tunes — “Hazy,” “Wind” and “Pillow” — as part of a project called “Relative Motion” that hasn’t hit Apple Music yet. But it’s on Spotify and she’s offering a bonus track — “Spring” for those who get it through Bandcamp.

* Troy Ramey from Season 12 provides the raspy, intoxicating vocals on a new single from Memoryy called “First Love.” Memoryy is Brooklyn-based producer Shaun Hettinger, also responsible for Netflix’s Chelsea Handler theme song. Troy has released two singles of his own — “Rosary” and “Woman.”
