Her audition: Baily Rae, 18, of Durant, Oklahoma, auditioned with “Does My Ring Burn Your Finger” by Lee Ann Womack. With country coach Blake’s team full, John turned almost immediately. Baily Rae showed off lots of power and soul, but couldn’t entice a turn from Gwen, the only other coach with an unfilled spot on her team. Blake suggested he might have a steal waiting for Baily Rae in the battle round. John said Bailey Rae will be the first country artist he’s had the privilege of coaching on the show.

* The 18-year-old hails from Oklahoma, but calls Texas her second home, according to her Facebook bio.

* Her website is emblazoned with the words: “A Modern Day Voice: Classic Country by Choice”.

* She released her first two singles earlier this year, “Never Been This Lonely” in January and “I’m in Love”, which she co-wrote, in June. Check out snippets below.

* Bailey Rae is nominated for the 2020 Young Artist award at the Texas County Music Awards, set for Nov. 15.

* As a youth, she was into competitive clogging, won several national championships and competed at the world dance championships, according to her website bio.

* The same bio says she decided to pursue singing at age 13, after performing with the Shawnda Rains Entertainment Group in Branson, Missouri.

* She collects vinyl albums and has more than 100 from classic country artists, including some that once belonged to her great-great grandmother.

* Bailey Rae also works as a guitar, vocal and ukulele coach.
