Her audition: Grace Bello, 21, of Lacey, Wash., auditioned with “Ghost” by Justin Bieber. Her lovely opening prompted a quick chair turn from John Legend. Blake Shelton and Camila Cabello turned midway through the performance, followed by Gwen Stefani, giving Grace a four-chair turn. John loved her control and beautiful tone. Gwen loved the multiple sides of her voice. Blake called her voice “magical.” Grace decided to join Team Camila, who also praised her performance.

Here’s more about Grace:

* With a father who’s Cuban and a mother who’s Sicilian, Grace said she grew up in a household where she was exposed to a wide array of music.

* At age 4, her mother bought Grace a pink velvet costume that made her feel like a pop star. She wore it everywhere and would perform at the store, dinners and friends’ homes.

* While she’s always loved singing, Grace said she didn’t decide to pursue it seriously until after graduating high school “because I had overcome my fears and anxieties about putting myself out there, which I allowed to hold me back for too long.”

* She said her parents have always been supportive of her passion for music and really showed that by allowing her to take a gap year after high school to focus on her singing. She graduated from Steele High School in Cibolo, Texas.

* She previously auditioned for America’s Got Talent and for seasons 17 and 21 of The Voice. She felt a “little discouraged” about not making the show then, but says her mother helped convince her to give it another try.

* On YouTube, she writes “I love to sing and make covers in my room.” Lots of covers judging from her TikTok (27,000 likes prior to The Voice) and YouTube (more than 700 re-show subscribers).

* One of those is a YouTube version of her audition song, “Ghost” by Justin Bieber. You can check it out below. Alongside it, Grace writes: “I literally have nothing to say other than he’s one of my favorite artists of all time. I cry to his songs, so here’s me singing it instead.”

* Other artists she’s inspired by include Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift, Lizzie McAlpine, Leon, Steve Lacey, Leon Bridges, Lennon Stella and Lana Del Ray.

* And Sabrina Carpenter is a fan of Grace, complimenting her on doing one of the best covers of “Honeymoon Fades” she’s heard on an episode of “You Sang My Song.” She also praises Grace for a beautiful voice and amazing vibrato. You can check it out below.

* Grace told Voice Views her blind audition experience “was unbelievable. I struggle with anxiety when performing and when I’m just going about my daily life. I can genuinely say I felt the most comfortable and at peace I’d ever felt singing in my whole life when I was on that stage during my audition. I felt at home, and like I belonged.

* “All four coaches turning for me was far off from what I expected and I had to turn to the crowd or close my eyes most of the time to avoid looking at them and crying!” she added. “It truly was better than I could’ve ever expected.”

* As for choosing Team Camila, Grace said: “I really felt that Camila and I related well and that she would have the perfect ear to navigate me in performing pop songs! We like and listen to a lot of the same artists and I’ve always admired her work, that I really trusted she could guide and help me. It only felt right to choose her.”
