Grace West from The Voice Season 23

Grace West is among the singers to announce that she auditioned for The Voice Season 23.

The Voice returns to NBC on Monday, March 6.

Here’s more about Grace.

* Grace West is a stage name for Grace Rembinski, a country-pop singer-songwriter from Detroit who is now based in Nashville.

* Grace doesn’t appear to have released music, but you can check out her originals on TikTok.

* They include “You Owe Me That,” a song posted in August and one she says she’d recently recorded and the very impressive “By the Way,” posted in September. Check it out below.

* By the way, Grace has more than 34,000 followers and moe than 183,000 likes on her TikTok.

* Her website bio tells us her grandfather was a guitar player, so she grew up around music and sang in her church choir.

* She was 12 when she picked up her grandfather’s guitar, strummed her first song and decided music was a passion she planned to pursue.

* That bio indicates she signed a publishing deal as a teenager and moved to Nashville after graduating from high school.

* She’s since been performing and collaborating with other artists. In August, she posted about recording background vocals for country artist Andrea Pearson.

* Grace sums up her music this way: “I’m making pop-country music with an old-school vibe. I love bringing elements of classic country — the foundation of the genre — into a more modern sound.”
