Her audition: Kayslin Victoria, 16, of Clermont, Fla., auditioned with “Feel It Still” by Portugal The Man. She enticed chair turns from Kelly Clarkson and John Legend. John called her incredible. Kelly liked the confidence she showed. Kayslin said she’s been a fan of Kelly all her life, but opted for Team John, landing the final spot on his team.

* Kayslin told The Voice she started singing when she was 9. “My mom was a singer, so I wanted to follow in her steps. She definitely inspired me,” Kayslin said.

* Her Voice bio says she shocked everyone with a version of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” at a karaoke bar when she was 9 and was named a Child Star of Tomorrow at the Apollo Theater in New York when she was 10.

* Her last name is Tollinchi and she attends East Ridge High in Clermont, where she is a member of the school’s show choir and of the Rhythm of the Knight acapella group. She’s also been involved in theatrical productions there.

* She’s a volunteer at the Howey Horse Haven rescue and has been since January 2017. “It’s awesome,” she says.

* She called auditioning for The Voice “the craziest thing that’s happened in her life” and says her parents didn’t even know she had signed up to audition.

* It’s also by far the biggest thing she’s ever done musically, she told her hometown newspaper, The Daily Commercial.

” “Honestly, besides ‘The Voice,’ the biggest thing I ever did was perform at the Apollo,” she told the site. “It helped me gain the experience of being on a big stage and since then, I’ve been able to move towards where I’m at now.”

* As for her audition, she said: “The whole experience was so crazy, so unreal. I remember the day going so fast. On stage, my mouth was singing the words, but my brain was in another dimension.”
