Her audition: Reagan Strange, 13, of Memphis, Tenn., auditioned with Bebe Rexha’s “Meant To Be.” Adam Levine turned just as Reagan hit the chorus; Blake Shelton joined him near the end of the song. Adam said he appreciated the effortlessness in Reagan’s vocals. She decided to join Team Adam.

Her background: Reagan said ever since she was 6, her family has watched The Voice. She’s a freshman in high school and says she’s been singing for a long time. But she got really serious when she sang the national anthem at a Memphis Grizzlies NBA game at age 9. “I love this show so much, and just being here is an amazing thing,” she said. She calls herself a soul, pop, ballad singer.

On picking Adam as her coach: “I originally went in wanting either Blake or Kelly and my heart was really, really set on Blake. But when I got on stage and I heard the words that Adam said … I guess my gut feeling was just telling me: Adam.”

What the show didn’t show:

* She told her local TV station that she began singing at age 7.

* She had been performing at local fairs for two years before getting to sing the national anthem for the Grizzlies in front of a crowd of 16,000.

* Reagan also appeared on the 2015 season of FOX’s game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” Reagan, of course, was one of the grade 5 whiz kids.

* She was attending Center Hill Elementary School in Olive Branch, Mississippi, at the time.

* At one point, she moved to L.A. for a brief time. But in a 2016 interview, she said: “I just really missed my family. I just thought I could do singing at home. This is the best place to do singing. I can still go to act in L.A., if they’re big jobs, but really my family is where I need to be. I just can’t part from them.”

* Last summer, she sang Whitney Houston’s “I Have Nothing” en route to winning the Germantown Outstanding Teen competition.

* According to Reagan’s website bio, she’s shared the stage with country artists Craig Morgan, Luke Combs and Walker McGuire.

* Her Voice bio says she performs once a month at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, is a straight-A student and dreams of attending Georgia Tech to study engineering.
