Melanie MartinezMelanie Martinez has to be pretty thrilled right about now.

Twenty-four hours after the 20-year-old released her debut album, “Cry Baby,” it’s still number four on the iTunes album chart.

And it still tops the alternative albums chart.

The album shot up to number four on that oveall quickly after its release and has held steady there since.

The only albums doing better: pre-orders for 5 Seconds of Summer and the new albums from Luke Bryan (“Kill the Lights”) and Dr. Dre (“Compton”).

Sales totals aren’t available yet, but that puts Melanie on the track to have one of the best-selling post-Voice album releases yet.

Season 3 Voice champ Cassadee Pope landed at number six on the iTunes album chart when she released her debut in October of 2013.

The album wound up with first-week sales of about 43,000, according to Billboard, where it debuted at number one on the country chart and number nine on the overall albums chart.

Season 4 winner Danielle Bradbery nearly matched that performance with first-week sales of 41,000 for her debut album. It peaked at number eight on iTunes overall albums chart and landed at number one on the Billboard country chart and number 19 on the overall albums chart.

Melanie’s reaction to her album’s reception: “I love you guys so much,” she tweeted Friday night. “Thank you for being the beautiful supportive crazy people you are. So happy right now.”
