New post-Voice music includes the first single of 2020 from former Voice champion Danielle Bradbery.

Nicolle Gaylon and Curtis Grimes have also released new singles, and Season 9 Voice runner-up Emily Ann Roberts has a new cover song out.

Here’s a look at those releases. The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Danielle Bradbery, the Season 4 champ, is back with her first single of 2020, “Never Have I Ever.” Writes Danielle: “When writing this song, we wanted to capture that feeling where you’re in a new relationship and you’re terrified of the intense feelings you have, but you’re so excited at the same time. We really tried to put that whirlwind of emotions into words.” Danielle is also a featured vocalist on a song of Diplo’s “Snake Oil” album, due out at the end of the month.

* Nicolle Galyon, from Season 2, has a new single out, which isn’t unusual given her talent for writing hit songs. But “All the Things” is one on which she sings. She and Lori McKenna wrote the song for Landyn Hutchinson of Living With Landyn acclaim. Writes Nicolle: “Hope this simple ray of sunshine makes you feel how Landy’s instastories make us all feel — excited, invited and a little less quarantined. And, no, this is not the beginning of my artist career. Just having fun doing All the Things with all my friends.” Oh, and she’s doing it on the all-female Songs & Daughters label. Nicolle is president of that label. How’s that for post-Voice success.

* Curtis Grimes from Season 1 released a new single called “Little Bit,” inspired by his 2-year-old daughter. Curtis describes the song as “a day in the life of parents with a two-year-old” and adds “if you like 90’s country, I promise you will appreciate it.” Curtis was named 2019 Texas CMA Entertainer of the Year and his “Had a Thing” single was named Texas CMA Christian single of the year.

* Emily Ann Roberts, Season 9 runner-up, released a cover of “Wide Open Spaces” by The Dixie Chicks. Writes Emily Ann: “The message of “How The Car’s Running” means SO much to me so we decided to pay tribute to another song with a similar message.” “How’s the Car Running,” released in late March, is Emily Ann’s latest original and there’s now a music video as well.
