New post-Voice music out includes singles from Loren Allred, The Shades, Kendra Checketts and Max Boyle.

Here’s a look at each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music.

* Loren Allred from Season 3 recently released a new single called “Perfect.” Explains Loren: “When I wrote perfect, I was stuck in a state of emotional paralysis. I couldn’t figure out how to let go of the pressure to please everyone and it had stifled my creativity. After many years of being too scared to release original music, I finally bit the bullet. I realized that aiming for perfection will always be a moving target. Seeing that I should only compare myself to who I was yesterday opened up a pathway to see exactly who I could be without limitations. I’m happy to be imperfectly.” Loren, of course, is best known for singing “Never Enough” on “The Greatest Showman” soundtrack. She’s also about to go out on tour with Andrea Bocelli.

* Kendra Checketts from Season 16 released “Porch” late last month. It a song about a dreamy relationship, and it follows “Blasé” as her second single of 2021. Kendra was Top 24 on the show.

* Max Boyle from Season 17 released “Fire Away” recently. Max wrote the song with Gabe Baker, Michael Leatherman and Robert Sewell. And while he had released music before the show, it appears to be his first single since.

* The Shades, featuring Andrew DeMuro from Season 11 on lead vocals, released the pop single “Remember” last week. It’s the third of three singles the Chicago-based trio promised this summer. The other releases were “Letters” and “Runnng.”
