* Ashland Craft from Season 13 dropped her debut album, “Travelin’ Kind” on Friday. As of Monday, it was still number 29 on Apple Music’s country albums chart. The album features 11 songs. Among the previously unreleased highlights are “Highway Like Me,” featuring a vocal assist from fellow South Carolinian Marcus King. Writes Ashland: “‘Travelin’ Kind’ feels like the start of a whole new adventure. It’s a heartfelt, wide open track list, (written with some of my very best of friends) that takes you through all the ups and downs that come along with life’s journey. I wanted it to be rooted, but carefree and a little imperfect, which I feel like @jonathansingletonmusic captured perfectly while producing this record. My dreams are becoming reality and I can’t wait to hear what songs y’all are resonating with!” Ashland’s still on tour as an opener for the Zac Brown Band; the show dates run through mid-October.

* Jonathan Hutcherson from Season 10 has released his debut EP. It’s a five-song collection. “Young” and “Kentucky Blues” had been pre-released; Jonathan calls the opening track, “Love Takes Time,” as “one of my favorites.” Says Jonathan: “I put my heart and soul into this and I am so grateful and excited for y’all to hear it.” Prior to this summer, Jonathan had released just one song since the show, a 2018 single.
