James Dupre from The Voice Season 9

James Dupre released a catchy new country single this weekend called “Another Love Song.”

It marks the first release in nearly three years from the former Season 9 standout on The Voice; his post show album “Stoned to Death” dropped in the summer of 2016.

James co-wrote the new single, which is also featured in a web series by Warm Audio called “In the Mix with Joe Carroll.”

James was a four-chair turn recipient with his cover of “Let Her Cry” back on Season 9 of The Voice and advanced to the knockout round.

Also popping up on my Spotify Release Radar for the first time this week are new songs from Grace Askew, Adley Stump, Grant Ganzer, Shilo Gold and Kensington Moore. Oh, plus a feature vocal by Season 3’s Terisa Griffin on a house single by Tom Glide called “Magic (Spell On Me).”

* Kensington, just 16 when she competed on Season 7, has released what I’d consider her best song since the show with “I Don’t Like You Anymore.”

* Grace, from Season 4, is 448 days into her self-challenge to write 500 songs in 500 days and still going strong. Her new release is “Yours.”

* Now releasing music as just Adley, the Season 2 contestant serves up a humorous take on a Taylor Swift song with “Bumble.”

* Singer-songwriter Shilo Gold from Season 13 released “Church” on Friday. It’s her fifth song since the show, the last from her “Salt” EP and she encouraged everyone to add it to their sad song playlist.

* “Back Seat Driver” is the second single this month from Season 7’s Grant Ganzer, and he’s got more coming. His debut album is set for release April 4.

Following the links will take you to the new songs on Apple Music. Or listen to the Spotify snippets below.
