Jacquie Lee from The Voice Season 5

Jacquie, the Season 5 runner-up as Jacquie Lee, recently released “wycmf” (What You Calling Me For). It’s the first single off an upcoming EP called “indigo” and her first release with Cash App Studios. She raved about that relationship in a recent social media post, writing: “After a decade of being signed, being dropped, being broke, being swindled and a whole bunch of other s– so far, a SoundCloud link of demos randomly fell into the hands of @cashapp studios and I’ve never experienced anything like what they’re doing for artists. They’re really out here supporting projects and making it possible to own 100% independently … Super excited and grateful to be releasing my first EP with them.”

Gigi Rich from The Voice Season 7

* Gigi Rich — Gianna Salvato back in Season 7 — recently released “Cycle.” It’s her first solo release of 2022 and a song she wrote with Savannah Sanabia and Aaron Osborne. Writes Savanah: “Gigi Rich is a powerhouse with a killer voice, an amazing artistic vision and the kindest heart, and I cannot wait to see her take the world by storm … If you have ever found yourself going back to someone/something toxic over and over again, go stream ‘Cycle'”

Elise Azkoul from The Voice Season 17

* Elise Azkoul from Season 17 released “It Don’t Matter” earlier this month. It’s a song she wrote with another former Voice contestant, Kyndal Inskeep. “It’s powerful, fierce, muddy, soulful, jazzy, and gives major 007 vibes,” Elise says of the song, also her first release of 2022.
