New post-Voice music out includes an EP from Ryan Innes and singles from Austin Giorgio and Genesis Diaz.
Here’s a bit more about each of those releases. The links take you to the music on Apple Music.
* Ryan Innes from Season 3 dropped a seven-song EP called “Closure” on Friday. The EP, he says, “waded through a pandemic, a divisive election, wars, economic crashes, a marriage, COVID. (‘Closure’ was the first song I sang after being this sickest I’ve ever felt. Lots of heart and struggle and life in here and a @kanyewest cover of “Power” for good measure.” Ryan says he recorded the vocals “locked up in my own dark and smoky studio all alone, by myself during the height of pandemic. Always good to have some time stamps of life. These are mine.” Check out that excellent title track below.
* Austin Giorgio from Season 14 has a fun new song out called “Automatic.” Says Austin: “I wrote this song about a girl who’s authentically herself. And about the little things she does that make her so attractive.” “Automatic” follows “She’s an Actor” as the second recent release from Austin, who’s working on an album. He’s also announced a series of summer tour dates.
* Genesis Diaz, also from Season 14, has also served up a fun new single, Spanish-language in her case called “Mala.” There’s also a music video, which you can check out below. It followed “Champagne” and “Fuego Lento” as the third recent release from Genesis. She was 19 when she auditioned for The Voice. She then auditioned for La Voz, the Spanish-language version of the show in 2019, and made it to the semifinals.
