The Voice has leaked another blind audition, and this one is special.

In it, Stephanie Skipper covers Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece by Piece,” prompting tears from the new Voice coach and landing a spot on the show.

What makes the blind audition so special is Stephanie’s vocal. Wow!

I’ve written before that The Voice coaches are being stingy with their chair turns in Season 14.

That’s especially true with this audition — which instantly became one of my Season 14 favorites. That’s four-chair turn worthy. I mean, if I’m a coach on the show, my chair is turning at the end of the first two lines.

Stephanie, 33, is from the State College, Pa., area and now a Nashville resident.

She released music under her maiden name of Stephanie Smith before joining forces with husband Tim Skipper to form the duo Copperlily.

As Copperlily, they’ve released three EPs and an album, all of which are still available.

I’ll be writing more about Stephanie after her blind audition airs.

Meanwhile, enjoy her wonderful version of one of Kelly’s most emotional songs.
