* The Swon Brothers, finalists from Season 4, released their third single of 2020 on Friday. It’s called “Somewhere San Diego” and they were able to play it live in a show at the Pala Casino Resort Spa in San Diego a few days before its release. Wrote Zach and Colton on Instagram: “Sometimes polar opposites attract. In this song back roads & muddy boots fall for beach waves & sandy boardwalks.”

* Josh Gallagher, a finalist on Season 11, released “Get Lost” on Friday. It’s a mid-tempo love song about getting cozy “down int he boondocks.” It’s also the country singer’s first release since a five-song EP, “Turn Around Town,” dropped in March. Josh also recently released a lyric video for his single “Boots Like Mine” to commemorate the anniversary of 9-11.

* Curtis Grimes from Season 1 released “Still a Little Country Left” on Friday. It’s his third single of 2020, following “River Road Dream” and “Little Bit” and was streamed more than 50,000 times on Spotify within 48 hours of its release. Curtis is up for entertainer of the year honors at the 2020 Texas County Music Association Awards on Nov. 15 and will also be performing at the show.
