The American Idols stepped back into the 1980s Wednesday night.
The results were mixed, both from the stage and from the judges’ table.
Perhaps if the judges had spent less time playing with hair extensions, wandering off into the crowd and breaking out into “Like a Virgin,” they might have paid enough attention to deliver more worthy critiques.
