Who should be worried tonight on American Idol?

Signs point toward Dexter Roberts and Majesty Rose.

Both landed in the bottom three last week.

Both were forced to perform early in last night’s show.

And both had failed to chart on iTunes as of 5:30 p.m.

Oh, yeah, if you hadn’t heard, for the first time ever, Idol is allowing its performance songs to show up on the iTunes charts.

Caleb Johnson is doing the best over on the rock chart. No big surprise there.

I am a little surprised Jena Irene Asciutto isn’t doing better on the alternative chart. She was amazing last night, perhaps turning in the best performance of Season 6 to date.

If you want to check out where everyone was on the iTunes chart, head here.

Meanwhile, Idol will have to pack all of its suspense into a half-hour tonight.

That’s right, folks, a one-half-hour results show. Three cheers for whoever is responsible for that long-overdue change.

And we get right down to results …

Advancing:

* Jena Irene: Yep, she’s on the rise folks. Watch out.
* Malaya Watson: Another singer making progress, though I’d say there’s a pretty big gap between her and the front-runners.
* Alex Preston: Hey, good news for Alex. He sang first and still avoided the stools.
* Jess Meuse: Excellent, because she’s one of the best three singers on the show.
* Caleb Johnson: That was a no-brainer after his rocking performance Wednesday night.
* Dexter Roberts: Wow, a little surprised to see him get more votes than Sam Woolf.

That leaves a bottom three of Sam, C.J. Harris and Majesty Rose.

And Sam and C.J. survive to sing another day.

That means Majesty Rose is on the verge of elimination on Idol.

She says she knew it, but she doesn’t hesitate to launch into her save-me performance. She’s singing “Happy.” Not very well. Though it’s a high energy performance.

That was a high-energy performance. But the vocal was all over the place.

And the judges will not save Majesty.

That’s the right decision, because Majesty just landed in the bottom three for three straight weeks.
