The Voice kicked off the battle rounds with a new twist last week — the save.
The bottom line: Contestants eliminated by their coach after a battle round could be snatched up by another coach.
It happened three times in the first two battle round episodes, prolonging The Voice life for Collin McLoughlin, Amanda Brown and Caitlin Michele.
