Here’s more about Sadie.
* She’s a country singer now based in Nashville who already has one reality show win under her belt.
* In 2020, Sadie was a contestant on The Outdoor Channel’s “Hunting: For Love or Likes,” which tested women who post hunting-related content online to see if they really love the outdoors or if they were doing it to generate likes.
* Sadie’s skill as a hunter earned her the show’s Season 4 title, and she returned to compete again in Season 5. She also now has nearly 60,000 followers on her Instagram page.
* That love of the outdoors stemmed from a childhood during which she spent lots of time fishing and hunting with her father.
* She’s also released country music — to the tune of four singles, including the very catchy country rocker “Holy Ground” earlier this year.
* On Instagram, Sadie writes: “I have so many songs ready to go! Can’t wait to get them all out after this next big project I’m working on for this fall.” Without naming the show, she was, of course, referring to The Voice.
* In her web bio, Sadie says she spent most of her younger years singing behind closed doors. At 19, she felt called to pursue music. So she left Lansing Community College and a softball scholarship behind and has since relocated to Nashville.
* And, of course, she’s playing for crowds now. In fact, she’s opened for a number of nationally known country artists, including Brantley Gilbert, Chase Rise, Craig Morgan, Billy Ray Cyrus, Hardy and Jimmy Allen.
* Among those Sadie says she’d love to open for in the future: Ashland Craft, a standout on Season 13 of The Voice.
* That information comes from a humorous Q&A Sadie posted in late 2020 in which she also shared her most embarrassing on-stage moment: Stepping on the edge her bass player’s guitar case and tumbling off the stage. On her birthday, no less.
* Her other singles, dating back to 2019, include “Don’t Pick Up,” “Made for It” and “Wear It Out.” You can check out the music video for “Wear It Out” on her YouTube channel.
