New post-Voice music out includes singles from Fousheé, Sydney Rhame and Chris Crump.

Here’s a bit about each of those releases.

The links take you to the songs on Apple Music. Or you can check out the Spotify snippets below.

* Fousheé from Season 15 has released her version of “Deep End,” four months after rapper Sleepy Hallow’s version — featuring Fousheé’s vocals on the backing track — blew up on Tik-Tok, then YouTube. At first, Fousheé wasn’t credited on the song. That changed after her own Tik-Tok appeal. “The story behind ‘Deep End’ had a lot to do with the creation of the song and video. It’s really a success story for black women,” told thefader.com. It’s about fighting to get what’s due to you because it isn’t always going to be handed to you.” You can check out that music video — with dancing inspired by her Tik-Tok experience, here.

* Sydney Rhame from Season 10 has released “Saturday Night Thoughts,” a pop song about hanging out with friend and her boo. And while the title might make you think it was pandemis-inspired, Sydney said she actually wrote it pre-quarantine “when you could actually go out to bars.” It follows “Losing It” as the second single of 2020 for the gal who appeared on The Voice at age 16 and just turned 22.

* Chris Crump from Season 9 released “Better Days,” his first single of 2020 last week. “Excited about this one because every aspect of it involves a good friend. Writing, production, recording and the cover art all aided by friends and people I hold dear,” Chris writes on social media. We last heard from Chris in the form of a five-song EP, “Remembering Vol. 1” from last November.
